13 Oz Rule Not For Bookins Shipments
You may have heard about a USPS rule,
or noticed a decal on blue boxes saying that deposit of stamped mail over
13 ounces is prohibited and any such mail will be returned. This does
not apply to any Bookins shipments or packages from any PC Postage
provider.
All Bookins shipments, including those of 13
oz or more, can be dropped in blue mailboxes. You may also leave your
Bookins shipments for your letter carrier, regardless of weight.
The 13 oz restriction only applies to packages with
stamps, not PC Postage that we provide.
For more information on the 13 oz rule and PC Postage
exclusions, click here for the Post Office
memo. If your mail carrier is not aware of this
rule, print out a copy of the memoand leave it for your carrier.
